EMI follow-ups that keep the relationship intact

An NBFC's early-bucket book — one to fifteen days past due — is where recovery is cheapest and tone matters most. But the collections floor works the oldest debt first, so the early bucket ages untouched into the expensive one. Most of these borrowers just forgot, got paid late, or have a dispute nobody logged.

  1. Mon

    The early bucket, worked first

Day-2 past-due accounts import with EMI amount, bounce reason, and payment history. The forgetful majority get a reminder before it becomes a mark.

  2. Tue

    Promises get dates

A borrower who says 'salary on the 7th' gets a promise-to-pay logged for the 8th — and a reminder call scheduled for the 7th evening.

  3. Wed

    Disputes come off the queue

The borrower who already paid, or contests the charge, is flagged as a dispute with their account of it — and stops getting collection calls immediately.

  4. Thu

    Hardship routes to humans

A job loss or medical situation is never negotiated by the agent. It becomes a priority handoff to the restructuring desk, with the story attached.

  5. Fri

    Promise dates come due

The 7th-evening reminders go out. Kept promises close; broken ones escalate with the full history — no borrower re-tells their story twice.

Talenoa

ठीक है, मैं आठ तारीख़ की promise note कर रही हूँ। सात की शाम को एक reminder call आ जाएगा।
